ABOUT US
Geula MMA TLV is a martial art studio, specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai, located in the center of Tel Aviv near Geula Beach.
For us, teaching is a way of life. Our purpose is to make martial art more approachable to people and to build a skill that will grant our students a sense of security, value and satisfaction.
The studio is managed by professional and long experienced teachers, coaches and martial art instructors who have been training for many years with a great love for the field, in order to create an effective platform which will be able to provide students tools for growth in the technical, physical and mental aspects.
Our studio is family oriented and allows us to study and teach the art safely and without risk of injuries. We believe in calm and technical training which provides practical self-defense tools for men and women in real life situations. In addition, we hold classes for teens in order to prepare and train them for a meaningful service in the IDF and also assist civilians in applying for positions in various Israeli security agencies.

Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - "The Gentle Art"
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu originally developed from Japanese Jiu-Jitsu.
Jiu-Jitsu burst into consciousness in 1993 at the first UFC event
And there's an end to the historical debate
"which martial art is superior"
The martial art is most effective in a one-on-one combat and in an arena with no rules and no time limit.
The first three UFC events ended with the victory of Brazilian jiu-jitsu representative Royce Gracie. Today Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most popular sports in the world. MMA fighters mainly combine Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu without a suit/Gi.
The training is carried out with a suit/Gi.
In each practice you will learn a Takedown technique,
Defense and attack against the standing opponent when you are lying on the floor, you will learn how to turn a disadvantage into an advantage, to use your body as a lever. The trainings develop thinking ability, sharpening the senses, concentration, self-confidence. This martial art uses the belt system:
white, blue, purple, brown and black.
Grapling
Grappling (Jiu Jitsu No Gi) - "The Chess of the Body"
Unique trainings that combine wrestling, judo, and jiu jitsu all this without a suit/Gi.
In compare to the traditional Jiu-Jitsu with a Gi the game here is much faster, dynamic, and constantly changing and evolving.
Today the most famous Tournament in the industry
is the ADCC Championship.
A fascinating No-Gi competition that combines the scoring of wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu.
One of the most popular martial arts in the world today.
The trainings develops mobility, flexibility, stability, quick thinking and fitness.

Boxing
Boxing - "The Sweet Science Sport"
Training that only includes hand strikes.
We like to incorporate the footwork of the classic boxing, the hand release, the light head movements into our Muay Thai training.
MMA
Combining all these martial arts together gives us MMA
We believe that there should be a strong foundation in all martial arts before starting to combine them together.
So be patient.
